Original recipe yields 6 servings

Directions

  1. Cut smoked sausage into 1 inch pieces and brown lightly in skillet.
  2. Combine vegetable soup with sausage and place shredded cabbage over the top. Place lid on skillet and let cook on medium heat until cabbage is tender. Stir together and serve.

this was a simple and easy to fix. my kids really liked it. i changed it up by adding a little water and 1 package of stew seasoning. thank you!

Tim's Sausage Stew (on this site) a much better recipe, with two changes: Use just 1# turkey or chicken sausage (less fat and salt), and be sure to use low sodium, low sodium broth.
