Original recipe yields 24 servings
Directions
- In large microwaveable bowl, mix cereals, pretzels and nuts.
- In 2-cup microwaveable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in Creole seasoning and pepper sauce. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
- Microwave uncovered on High 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

For the red pepper sauce, I used Frank's Red Hot. I thought this was pretty good (though the kids did tell me that it was a little too spicy--next time I'll go lighter on the red pepper sauce) as did the rest of my family. GREAT movie snack and fun to make with the kids as a spending-time-together activity. I'll make this again. If you plan on sharing this with your kids, you might want to cut back on the red pepper sauce or go less heavy on the creole seasoning. I speak from experiance."
