  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the turkey meat until it's no longer pink, breaking the meat up as it cooks, 10 to 15 minutes. Pour the tomatoes into the skillet, and crush them into chunks with a spoon. Transfer the turkey meat and tomatoes into a soup pot. Stir in the hot chili beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, baked beans, and tomato paste. Bring the soup to a boil; simmer at least 10 minutes. Serve in bowls garnished with about 2 teaspoons of shredded Cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream.

Footnotes

  • Cook's Note
  • This is also good as chili mac. Just boil some pasta and layer pasta, chili, then cheese and sour cream.

We added ALOT of extra spices but the ease of just dumping in cans of beans was wonderful! So easy to make and very very good!

I like this recipe a lot! I HAD to tweak it, because I didn't have all the ingredients. I used two cans of Kidney beans, 1 can of refried beans(instead of the pintos),a chili season packet, and...

I was real happy with this dish. I read the reviews before I made it and agreed that the spice needed a bit of kicking up so I added a few chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, cardamom, and cayenne pow...
