  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  2. In a saucepan bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. To the cooked rice add cheese, onion, eggs and butter. Mix well and gently stir in parsley and milk. Transfer to a 2 quart casserole dish.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours.

This smelled so good cooking! It needed a ton of salt, after it was already baked. Also, the very top of the casserole was slightly hard-crunchy, from not being covered. I would suggest cover...

Even with extra salt very bland, way too much parsley. Not a keeper! Thanks though.

No flavor! It tasted like plain white rice.

This was a lot work for little pay off. It was extremely bland, and I even doubled the cheese.

I added a minced clove of garlic to this recipe .. it was GREAT!!
