Original recipe yields 8 servings

Directions

  1. Place steak in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add 1/2 cup of the marinade; turn to coat well. Reserve remaining marinade for brushing.
  2. Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove steak from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
  3. Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness, brushing with reserved marinade halfway through cooking time.

Quick, easy, and delicious! We used this on NY strips and while that cut of steak really doesn't need much of anything except someone who knows how to cook them properly on the grill. (Well, maybe that and your appetite.) I decided I'd give this marinade a try. We loved the flavor of the garlic and cracked black pepper. Overall, very good.

Salt and Pepper are still the best seasonings for steak. The marinade overpowered the flavor of the steak and was all we could taste.
