  1. In a large salad bowl, lightly mix the tomatoes, cilantro, green and red bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, green onions, and sweet red onion until thoroughly combined. Gently toss with avocado pieces, and squeeze lime juice over the salad. Sprinkle with salt to serve.

  • I control heat of the jalapeno peppers by leaving in membranes and seeds (hotter) or removing the seeds and membranes (milder). I usually end up removing the seeds from 1 pepper and leaving the seeds in the other one.

Great overall, but I'd definitely recommend scaling back the cilantro (I wound up using way less than the recipe called for and added basil because I had a bunch on hand). I love the flavor ove...
