Original recipe yields 8 calzones
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Separate dough into 8 triangles; pat out each triangle slightly.
- Place 3 slices pepperoni, slightly overlapping, on center of each triangle. Top each with about 1 tablespoon cheese.
- Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point. Place rolls, point side down, on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm crescents with warm pasta sauce for dipping.

"I DOUBLED this recipe. To cut the assembly time in half, I used eight individual string cheese. What I did was cut each of the string cheese in half, put a half in the middle of the crescent roll on t..." See moreop of the pepperoni slices and roll it up into the crescent. I didn't need to worry about shredding cheese and there was more cheese in the middle of the crescent which we all liked. I served these with a homemade pizza sauce. Huge hit."
