Original recipe yields 4 calzones
Directions
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- Unroll dough; place on cookie sheet. Starting at center, press out dough into 14x10-inch rectangle; cut into 4 (7x5-inch) rectangles. Spoon 1/3 cup chicken mixture onto half of each rectangle, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edge. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons cheese over each.
- Fold dough in half over filling; press edges firmly with fork to seal. Prick tops with fork.
- Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

"This is a great recipe, especially if you are in a hurry. If you are lucky enough to get a can of pizza dough that will cooperate with you (and I was not this particular time), this recipe can be put..." See more together in a matter of minutes. My dough came out in pieces for some reason, so much of my time was spend putting the pieces together instead of just rolling the dough out. I had some already cooked chicken leftover that I shredded and combined with some really good honey BBQ sauce. After finally getting the dough shaped, these took no time at all to get into the oven and they baked very quickly. The family really enjoyed this one and I enjoyed the fact that it was fast and easy."
