I actually make a version of this using Hawaiian Bread or rolls, and Havarti cheese, ham and pineapple. It's assembled, buttered and grilled in a skillet so that the cheese melts. Wonderful
EXCELLENT sandwich! I admit I only used a 'generic' whole wheat bread, and provolone cheese slices. Really goooood!
