Original recipe yields 6 servings

Directions

  1. Cook the turkey, onion, chili powder and cumin in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until the turkey is cooked through, stirring often.
  2. Add the vegetable juice, pepper and beans to the saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

"I was excited to find this recipe. We have a ton of V8 juice and cans of beans that we needed to use. I think this is a good base recipe but I needed more! I added some beef chuck, bacon and a few mor..." See moree spices which improved it. Just not enough flavor for us and nothing we were "wowed" by. I like that it's made with ground turkey and I am going to experiment and see how I can make this better. My husband gave it a 3 1/2 stars. Not bad. Thanks!"
