  1. Whisk the milk, cocoa powder, turbinado sugar, and almond extract together in a saucepan over medium-low heat until the sugar has dissolved; bring the mixture to a simmer.

I would make a few changes to this recipe as I found it quite rich and sweet. The almond flavoring also put it a bit over the top. I'd replace that with vanilla extract and reduce the sugar (how...
