“This is an all-around homemade dip. Best in stir-fry beef, pork, chicken (especially Buffalo wings), even chips and steamed veggies. The whole family, even friends love this. Best served chilled. You can substitute 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic for onion, or you can mix both!”

Directions

  1. Stir the mayonnaise, white vinegar, soy sauce, and water together in a bowl just until combined. Add more water as desired for thinner consistency. Stir in minced onion.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until cold.

I was looking for a dip to have on hand for snacking on raw veggies, this one fits the bill. Extremely simple and fast to make. Consistency was a bit weird after first mixing, but evens out after some time in the fridge. Lacks the rich creaminess of a dip with sour cream, but good nonetheless.
