Directions

  1. Coat the chicken with the flour.
  2. Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in 2 batches and cook until well browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until they're tender. Stir the broth, vinegar and thyme in the skillet and heat to a boil. Return the chicken to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve the chicken and sauce with the rice.

Not bad. Needed more seasoning but overall pretty good

I was a little afraid to try this recipe, because it only had two reviews and they weren't really good. However, I had everything on hand for it. I noticed both reviewers said it was bland, and that salt and pepper were missing from the ingredients. So I added kosher salt and pepper, paprika, and thyme to the flour. I also salted the onions and garlic as I was cooking them, and it seemed to be the touch it needed. This was excellent!! My 5 year old loved it!! And he doesn't like anything. :) We are gonna add this to my list of favorites.

Quick and easy weeknight supper. I agree with the more seasoning required.
