  1. Puree flaxseed, cashews, red bell pepper, carrot, garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, and agave nectar in a food processor.
  2. Spread mixture onto nonstick food dehydrator sheets and place into food dehydrator following manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Dehydrate until dry and crisp, about 18 hours. Flip crackers on sheets after 6 hours.
  4. Break sheets into pieces for serving.

Great tasting raw cracker! This will be so easy to add herbs or seasonings for a change of flavor, but even as written, this is a great recipe! Thanks!

gonna try them all


I don't know how the other reviews rated it so well when clearly it is missing the necessary amount of liquid to blend the ingredients. I've made at least a half a dozen different raw cracker/flatbread recipes before and made them several times over, but this one clumped up in a big ball and my processor wouldn't even move. So, I looked at a number of my other recipes and modified this one to 'work' and hopefully I have saved the day for this because I didn't want it to go to waste. I would look at other recipes and compare and see if you can't modify it. Otherwise, I liked how simplified the ingredients were in this one and was hoping for a really fast, simple recipe. I had to add about a cup of liquid to get the processor moving. We'll's in the dehydrator now..
