Directions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts by placing meat between two pieces of plastic wrap. Starting in the center, pound chicken with a mallet or rolling pin to an even thickness.
  2. Thoroughly mix ketchup with cranberry sauce, sugar and allspice.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Brown chicken for 2 minutes on each side then reduce heat.
  4. Pour sauce mixture over chicken in skillet. Cover and simmer 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn chicken; simmer an additional 5 minutes or until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) or is cooked through.

made this for dinner tonight. Hubby only gave it 3 stars. I thought it was okay, but the ketchup overpowered the cranberry sauce. Maybe if it was 1/4 ketchup to 3/4 cranberry sauce it would be better. If you are a big lover of ketchup, you might like this!

Me and my family tried this recipe and it was amazing. We had to subsitute ground cinnamon for allspice. We also added in a tablespoon more of cranberry sauce. All and all the add ins made the dish even better. I would highly recommend it.

YUCK!!! Blech! Way to much ketchup. One star only because none isn't an option.
