Based on a 2,000 calorie diet


  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Stir in brown sugar and salt. Cook one additional minute; remove from heat.
  2. Combine peanut butter and pesto in small bowl. Place flatbreads on large baking sheet. Spread 3 tablespoons peanut butter mixture on each flatbread. Top with sausage, onions and cheese.
  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basil. Cut each pizza into 8 slices before serving.

I absolutely loved this recipe. The different flavours of peanut butter (whatever kind; it doesn't have to be Jiff), the chorizo sausage, and the goat cheese were so good together! I've made this a bunch of times now and everyone loves it due to it's very different flavour. It also pairs really well with any kind of red wine (I prefer Malbec myself). It's sweet, savoury, and tangy all at once!
