One guest took the recipe and introduced it to her church where it became a staple at all gatherings. I like a stronger coffee flavor and sometimes use espresso granules."

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan; remove from heat and stir in chocolate drink mix, sugar, and coffee granules. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hour or overnight.
  2. Pour chocolate mixture in a large punch bowl about 30 minutes before serving. Scoop vanilla and chocolate ice cream into the bowl, stirring until partially melted. Garnish with dollops of whipped topping and shaved milk chocolate.

simply amazing! Wouldn't change anything except maybe doubling the recipe. Is very decadent and simply wonderful, even if you're not a huge coffee fan. Never had a complaint.

made this today for my Halloween party! Delicious and VERY decadent! I was surprised that the recipe didn't call for milk, but the flavors blended beautifully. I used coffee ice cream- It was a giant, delicious bowl tasted just like a Starbucks iced mocha. Will definitely make this again!

This recipe is great! I kept the leftovers in my fridge for a couple of days before throwing the rest out. I will definitely be making this again!
