  1. Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Shape beef chuck into 12 patties.
  3. Grill patties on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Place 2 slices mozzarella cheese on each patty about 1 minute before removing from grill. Place patties on hamburger buns.
  4. Mix tomato sauce, oregano, minced onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl; cover and heat in the microwave on high until heated through, about 5 minutes. Spread tomato sauce mixture over burgers to serve.

Easy and very tasty! The only thing I'd change is add the sauce to the top of the burger and then melt the cheese to prevent soggy buns. Also works with jarred spaghetti sauce for a super quick lunch! Great creation, Emily! Thanks!


Very good, I put spaghetti sauce instead and made the patties with ground pork in my Big Boss Grill.


Made these for lunch and we liked them. I liked how easy they were to throw together and didn't dirty up a bunch of dishes. I used Asagio Fresco cheese because it needed to be used. Nice submission for an easy lunch or a quick dinner =)
