Directions

  1. Layer the butter lettuce in the bottom of a 9x11-inch deep casserole dish. Follow with separate layers of green bell pepper, red onion, celery, and baby peas.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise with seasoned salt in a bowl and spread in a layer over the peas; sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the salad and serve immediately or chill.

I did make a few changes, I used thinly sliced red peppers and cherry tomatoes, in place of green peppers and c..." See moreelery, also a layer of baby spinach in addition to boston lettuce. In the mayo I used a premixed spice combination of dried tomatoes, onions,garlic,basil, parsley,salt black pepper. Also for presentation I layered it in a large truffel bowl."
