Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 11x17-inch baking dish.
  2. Whisk milk, flour, and 1 cup sugar together in a bowl until blended; add butter. Stir to combine.
  3. Arrange peaches in prepared baking dish; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Cover peaches with batter, without stirring.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until browned and bubbling, about 40 minutes.

Very easy and tasty. I used a 9 x 13 pan and cooked it for 35 minutes. Also sprinkled cinnamon on top for appearance and added nice flavor. I did not have self-rising flour so I added about 1 tsp baking powder to help it rise. The texture is great-not too hearty like an oatmeal cobbler or really thick, but nice and fluffy.

Love this recipe! It's great with a scoop of ice cream on top. Perfect just the way it is stated! Family perfered this recipe over others on this site. If you use can peaches, make sure to drain the juice, and you don't need the extra tablespoon of sugar. Thanks Lynn :)

I really liked this recipe the only addition i made is added some cinnamon on top before adding the batter
