“These are absolutely divine!! I am always asked to bring these for our school's bake sale and they are always the first to go! If there are any leftovers (which is doubtful) I prefer to keep the in the refrigerator.” - by miller5pack

Original recipe yields 2 dozen bars

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place brownie mix into a mixing bowl and stir in vegetable oil, water, and eggs; beat 50 strokes with a spoon. Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake brownies in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, 25 to 30 minutes. Check after 25 minutes. Let the brownies cool while you complete remaining steps.
  4. Spread marshmallow creme over the warm brownies. Place milk chocolate chips and peanut butter in a large saucepan over low heat and stir until the mixture is warm, completely melted, and smoothly combined. Stir in the crispy rice cereal until thoroughly coated and spread over the marshmallow creme layer, pressing and filling any voids. Refrigerate until set, 20 to 30 minutes. Cut into bars to serve.

"I used a name-brand marshmallow fluff and chunky peanut butter, other than that I kept to the recipe. Oh, wait. I did bake these in an 8x8 glass baking dish, not a 9x13. My brownies were done at a lit..." See moretle over 30 minutes at 350*. These turned out insane-good. Crazy-delicious. YES, these are very sweet......cut them small-ish. Milk is a must have with these bars."

"If you didn't guess from the ingredients, these are insanely sweet, but they're really good. Cut them small - a little goes a long way. And have a tall glass of milk close by. Next time I think I'l..." See morel try pressing the rice cereal into the marshmallow fluff, then drizzle the peanut butter/chocolate over the top to make them a bit prettier. Don't expect these to look fancy, but they are really tasty. I'm sure they'd be a kid pleaser!"

"Loved it! So simple, and a nice flare to the treats. I altered it a bit and blended cheesecake into the brownies, and used all natural chunky peanut butter. It wasn't as rich as other reviews said,..." See more and I'm not a sweets person either. Will definitely make this again."
