Directions

  1. Heat jam in a saucepan over medium heat; add cranberries, cinnamon, and allspice. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring frequently, until cranberries begin to pop, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in lemon zest. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow to thicken before serving.

I was looking around for a new cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving Day, and I made a smaller version of this one. This one is good and definitely easy. I think this will take a backseat to another one that I've tried, but this will definitely be used on those delicious sandwiches that we'll enjoy after Thanksgiving! Thanks, DebAnn!
