"I'm happy to be the first reviewer of this recipe, so that I can enthusiastically report that these potatoes were WONDERFUL. Fragrant, flavorful and rich, they don't take a back seat to the main dish ..." See moreeven tho' they are a side dish. I loved the dill in the potatoes, an herb I use routinely in grilled potatoes, but this was the first time I've used it in potatoes like this. Using red potatoes, coupled with the green of the herbs, also made for great eye appeal. This is not an extraordinary recipe for smashed potatoes, just a darned good one."

"I don't know about this recipe. One would really have to like dill to enjoy this. I like dill in deviled eggs and sometimes in potato salad. It was a bit much of a flavor for mashed potatoes. Although..." See more, I am giving it a 4 because I think it's just a personal taste. The potatoes were nice and creamy too. I just used regular peeled potatoes and I ended up near doubling the milk to get it to beat well. Only change I made was using low fat dairy products and that did not seem to be a problem."
