“The ultimate in home baked French fries! Fresh cut potatoes covered with Parmesan, basil, garlic, and coarse black pepper. These little guys are spectacular! If extra garlic, Parmesan, or pepper kick is desired (I do all 3!), sprinkle a little on the fries right before baking.”

Original recipe yields 4 servings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.
  2. Toss potatoes with vegetable oil in a large bowl. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, basil, salt, and black pepper; toss to coat. Arrange seasoned potatoes on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until fries are tender and lightly browned, 30 to 35 minutes.

Delicious! I used evoo instead of the veg oil, some dried basil b/c I didn't have fresh on hand and I may have used a bit more cheese than called for (I used freshly grated). These crisped up nicely and had wonderful flavor. I will be making these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
