Original recipe yields 1 8-inch casserole

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray 8-inch (20 cm) baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon in 2 cups stuffing, then top with turkey.
  2. Combine 1/4 cup (50 mL) Hellmann's® Half the Fat mayonnaise-type dressing with cranberry sauce; evenly spread over turkey.
  3. Combine remaining 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise-type dressing, potatoes and cheese in large bowl. Evenly spread on turkey, then top with remaining 2 cups (500 mL) stuffing.
  4. Bake 40 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Garnish, if desired, with dried cranberries.

This was so so, I really wanted to like it, they advertised the heck out of this recipe around here on the radio, but I think it needs less mayo. If you are a mayo fan then maybe this is for you. All I can taste is mayo, my husband said it was not that bad and ate it, my kids well one ate some, the other hated it. The mayo with the mash potato part was the one that was overkill, the bottom of the pie was not too bad. It did seem a little dry, maybe a little broth or something as well mixed in would make it more moist.

I thought this would taste like a plate of Thanksgiving leftovers. The mayo really adds something, we all loved it! I only had a few spoonfuls of potatoes so I used the leftover green bean casserole. This was really good and it did use up all of the leftovers. This would be perfect for a potluck, it makes a big casserole.
