Original recipe yields 4 cups

Directions

  1. Heat marshmallows, milk, butter, and salt in a saucepan over low heat until marshmallows melt, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Add chocolate chips and vanilla extract; continue stirring until chocolate is melted, 5 minutes more. Serve warm.

Excellent hot fudge sauce. I used evaporated milk and pure vanilla extract. One of the best I've made yet.

A great way to use those half dry marshmallows! This sauce is easy, very adaptable, and oh so good on strawberry ice cream! I also had some unsweetened chocolate squares which I melted in with this recipe.
