Directions

  1. Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Add pepper and onions; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
  2. Add beans, tomatoes, seasonings and 1/4 cup cheese; stir. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  3. Served topped with remaining cheese.

Sorry, the family was really disappointed in this chili. Will not make again, Had to add nearly two cups of beef broth and the whole thing of chili seasoning. It's a good recipe but not for people who love Louisiana chili flavor.
