  1. In a large saucepan or stockpot, cook ground beef, onion and red pepper until beef is browned. Drain off excess fat.
  2. Stir in the chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, salsa and taco sauce. Lower heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans just before serving and heat through.

For years my mother has made the same old chili. After I made this chili for her, she wanted the recipe and says she'll never go back to her old recipe! Spicy and easy to make!!

Once again I entered this recipe in my companies Chili cook off and took 1st place for the 3rd year in a row. I am always asked for the recipe.
