Disappointed by restaurant lobster tacos, I created this recipe for great at-home lobster tacos my family enjoys.

Based on a 2,000 calorie diet


  1. Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise along the spine. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill lobster tails until slightly charred and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Pull out lobster meat and coarsely chop. Combine cooking sauce, green onions, and half of the diced tomato, then add coarsely chopped lobster.
  2. Lay out tortillas flat, divide cheese evenly between the tortillas, then divide lobster mixture evenly between tortillas. Fold over and grill until lightly charred on each side and cheese is melted, about 1 minute per side.
  3. Garnish with avocado slices, lettuce and remaining tomatoes.

Awesome recipe!! Loved the taste of the lobsters, so easy to grill them and then mix the chunks with this authentic sauce. I used corn tortillas, which required me to hold the tortilla down onto the grill with a spatula while I was cooking it. I got the hang of it and the rest of them turned out perfect!!

I used chicken for this recipe (hubby isn't a huge seafood-at-home fan) and these were AMAZING. The flavor of the Herdez sauce was absolutely perfect. I loved the light crunch of the grilled tortilla with the melty cheese, warm filling with just the right amount of heat, and cool toppings. I added a drizzle of sour cream which was mixed with some of the Herdez tomatilla sauce and the whole meal was fantastic!! Definite keeper!

WOW! This is soooo good! I didn't change a thing! I will be making this again and again! and from now on I will always grill my wraps - so good!!
