Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded Cheddar, mozzarella, habanero Cheddar cheese, cooking sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Cook for 2 minutes at 50% power. Stir. Continue to cook at 50% power in 1 minute intervals, stirring each time, until cheeses are fully melted, combined, and thick.
  3. Place jalapeno halves, cut sides up, in a medium baking dish. Fill each jalapeno half with cheese mixture.
  4. Cook for 25 minutes or until jalapenos have softened and cheese has started to brown.
  5. All done! Now take a photo, rate it, and share your accomplishments!

These are such a great appetizer! A very nice spin on the stuffed jalapeno! I've already made these twice! This recipe isa keeper!

I have eaten my share of cheese stuffed jalapenos but I must say that the HERDEZ® Red Guajillo Chile Mexican Cooking Sauce put these over the top. These will be my go to jalapeno appetizers. I might add that the cheese mixture also makes for a great warm dip on it's own. Thank you for a great recipe GreenGirl24.

My boyfriend and I loved these. I did skip the melting of the cheese step, though, because I felt like it wasn't really necessary. 25 minutes in the oven was perfect. This recipe is awesome!
