Original recipe yields 4 servings

Directions

  1. Preheat the broiler and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken with half of the Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing and Seasoning Mix. Wrap two bacon slices around each piece of chicken. Reserve remaining Ranch® Dressing and Seasoning Mix for another use.
  3. Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until the bacon is browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer the chicken to the baking sheet. Top each chicken breast with 2 tomato slices and 1 slice of cheese. Broil 5 inches from the heat source until the chicken is cooked through (165 degrees F internal temperature) and the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 4 minutes longer.
  4. Serve atop lettuce for an all-in-one salad.

I made as written... Bacon kept falling on when I tried to fry... Did 3 mins each side as recipe said... Skillet was hot when I put chicken in.. So my remedy was to cook bacon on the side and re wrap which worked great! I then put it in the oven 5 inches from the broiler.. Holy .... smoky... cooked chicken 6 mins... RAW... So I turned the heat down and baked for 20... Super tastey but WHAT A PAIN>>> Grease every where... Smokey house.. Probably would make again with adjustments. It smelled great the whole time tho lol

I like to make this into a chicken sandwich and make either a chipotle mayo or honey mustard sauce for the bun. I also use a homemade dry ranch seasoning mix to keep the sodium down. I like to serve this with seasoned fries and a green salad.

Ya there were several problems with recipe as written.First i think it was a typo should say cook bacon three minutes on each side then chicken.It should then be wrapped with bacon and cooked on 375 until chicken is 165 degrees in center.Then add tomato and cheese and broil till cheese is melted.
