  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Add peanut butter and beat until incorporated.
  3. Sift flour and baking soda together in a separate bowl; mix into the butter mixture. Fold chocolate chunks into the mixture.
  4. Spread the batter into a 13x9-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Solid recipe. Easy and tastes great. Word to the wise~don't use all natural peanut butter. I made 2 batches, one with all natural and one with regular everyday peanut butter. I will not be using the all natural again for baking. My bad. Thanks for the recipe KBL. My family enjoyed.

I used natural crunchy peanut butter (Smucker's) but was a little nervous because of another review that said results weren't as good with natural peanut butter. Since I only buy natural, that was my only option. Turns out, I didn't need to worry! These are delicious! I also used semisweet chips instead of chunks. We love chocolate and peanut butter at our house and these were a hit. I will definitely make them again.
