Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot. Dissolve sugar in boiling water; remove from heat.
  2. Steep tea bags in water to desired strength of tea, 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Refrigerate tea until cold, at least 1 hour.

Before I chilled the tea, I floated lemon rings on the top. Refreshing. My husband had this whole batch gone in 24 hours. I will use this recipe again but I might cut back the sugar just a touch.

If every other drink in the world disappeared and there was ONLY ice tea, I would be one HAPPY GIRL;;)) I make n drink it every day, even sometimes in winter! I sub the sugar for Splenda, once in a while I add spearmint tea bags and use the nuker to make it Faster!
