Not your typical turkey sandwich! With avocado, cream cheese, and sunflower seeds on toasted wheat bread, your turkey sandwich won't know what hit it! Serve with chips or a pickle. Great summer sandwich!

Directions

  1. Spread cream cheese on one piece of toast. Sprinkle sunflower seeds over the cream cheese and place avocado slices over the seeds.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on the other piece of toast. Arrange turkey slices over the mayonnaise. Put turkey side of sandwich together with the avocado side of the sandwich.

This was delicious, I was honestly sad when it was gone and contemplated making another one. I really enjoyed the flavor combinations and the addition of sunflower seeds. I made as written, but used lite veggie cream cheese. Not sure it needs the mayo, I might try leaving it out next time. Give this one a shot!
