  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in shallow dish. Dip chicken in egg, then crumb mixture; turn to coat.
  2. Arrange the chicken in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken; top with cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Easy to make and simple ingredients especially if you have limited time.

I made this recipe twice now first time I used Classico Italian Sausage with Peppers & Onions Pasta Sauce it tasted awesome! No offence to author's choice of using Ragu but my tastes buds found ...

For me this recipe was not the greatest. It didn't taste like any chicken parm that I've ever had before. My boyfriend loved it, but this is not a recipe that I would ever make again :(
