The combination of the ingredients made for a delicious meal. I did add smoked sausage to bulk up this dish and it really complemented the dinner, I served it over rice. Yummy!

When it was almost finished cooking I tasted it and thought it needed something to boost the flavor, so I added 2 tsp of honey and 1/4 cup of chicken stock and simmered a little longer. Loved it...
