Original recipe yields 8 servings
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a 13x9 inch casserole dish, combine the mushroom and beef onion soups, canned mushrooms and water. Mix thoroughly and add beef tips. Turn to coat well.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
- While beef tips are baking, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Serve beef tips and sauce over noodles.

I added the onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the mixture and than poured over the meat. I have plenty of sauce to mix in with the noodles this way. Just a suggestion for those of you who said you didn't have enough gravy at the end. "

For the sauce, I use a can of cream of mushroom mixed with an equal amount of milk, an envelope of beefy onion, and a package of brown gravy mix. The milk gives me twice as much sauce, and the gravy mix thickens it up. It also seems to dilute the salt, because I haven't had any issues with it being too salty."
