Original recipe yields 8 cups

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, mix together curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and golden currants. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together corn chips, crispy corn cereal squares, mini pretzels and popped popcorn. Pour in curry powder mixture and toss gently to attain an even coating.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until crisp and lightly browned.

"After having brought the curry mixture to a boil, it had become a very thick gloppy glue. I added it into cereal mix anyway, but it did not coat any of it. I melted 1/2 cup of butter with garlic powde..." See morer and extra Worchestershire sauce and added it to cereal. I also added more curry powder. I mixed everything like crazy and baked it in oven. It came out great! It had really needed that butter. I just used double the amounts on the Worchestershire, curry, and garlic powder. Next time, I will use double of everything and add half cup butter with it until it all boils."
