  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Pour egg beat into a shallow dish or bowl; do the same with the flour. Heat oil and margarine in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Dip wings in egg, then flour, then fry until browned and crisp. Lay browned wings in an 11x14 inch baking dish.
  3. To Make Sauce: In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, vinegar and MSG. Blend well and pour sauce over chicken.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

This title seems misleading. I was looking for baked wings and these you have to fry then bake? Too time consuming to be labeled easy.

I made this recipe for a party I had at my house, there was about 10 people there... 10 people ate almost 3 lbs of wings!!! It was a HUGE hit. I had NO IDEA where to buy MSG so I just left it ...

Very tasty and easy. We reduce sugar and it still tastes great.
