  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, eggs and oil until well blended. Stir in the cake mix. Mix in the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls or roll into balls and place 2 inches apart onto unprepared cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Very easy and very good! My husband was craving chocolate and these hit the spot! Didn't have soybean oil so I used canola oil and they came out great.

I don't know what happened to my cookies but they do not look like the photo. Using the chocolate cake mix made them dark chocolate in color. They were cake like "fluffy" cookies. Not at all what was expected.
