  1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix bacon, Cheddar cheese, green onions and mayonnaise. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise as needed, using just enough to make the mixture stick together.
  3. Mold the mixture into a ball. Spread ball with strawberry preserves. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.

This is really good. I served it on Father's day as an apppetizer and I had to print out the recipe for everyone! Instead of making it into a ball form, I used a small bundt pan to shape it. ...

I made this for a retirement party and it was a big hit. Instead of strawberry preserves I used raspberry jam.

I had to wrap them in biscit mix. Without it just seemed to plan and gresy

This is very simple, and a little bit different than your typical cheese ball. The flavors really do meld well together.
