Original recipe yields 1 pound

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat egg white with water until frothy. Stir in pecans and mix to coat. Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt and stir into pecan mixture. Spread on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in preheated oven 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

"I made this recipe a couple weeks ago and just added a bit more cinnamon. My husband (a very picky eater) couldn't stay away from the nuts! They were litterally gone in a matter of minutes. I'm making..." See more these to give as Christmas gifts this year because they taste so good! I would recommend baking in a 9x13 dish rather than on a cookie sheet as the sides of the pan make it much easier to push the nuts around without making a mess when you have to stir the mixture."
