  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and place in hot oil; cook for 5 minutes, turning to brown evenly. Remove skillet from heat.
  3. Roll out pastry shells as thinly as possible so that it is big enough to fit around a chicken breast. Spread 2 ounces of cream cheese on one chicken breast, place in the center of a pastry sheet; fold the pastry around the chicken, and pinch the pastry edges together very tightly to seal. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place the pastry-wrapped chicken breasts on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Easy. However, I cooked the chicken completely before "stuffing the pastry" and the pastry is what needed the extra cooking time, no less than 15 minutes, but probably more. I added mushrooms, Y...

Based on previous reviews, I baked longer (30 min)- at a lower temp (375) and it was excellent.

I followed the recipe except I cut the chicken in smaller pieces and the puff pastry in smaller squares. Then I brought the corners together and pinched the sides together. I told my chidren we...

My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. I served it with Mushroom Rice from this site. I saved a little extra shallots, minced garlic and mushrooms from that recipe for the chicken. I cook...

Stuffed chicken with spinich and cream cheese mixture. My family just loved it. Will make this again. Thank you.

Yummy... I did a variation and made these into little appetizer squares... they were delicious and very easy to make... everyone wanted the recipe!

Soooo good!! I topped mine with heated cream of chicken soup, which really finished it off nicely.

This was very good. I used a plain cream cheese and mixed it with fresh chopped chives and 2 cloves of garlic. An easy, tasty and impressive looking meal.
