  1. In a small bowl, mix together tequila, melted butter, roasted garlic oil, lime juice, and minced garlic. Let stand for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill for medium heat.
  3. Brush grate with vegetable oil. Brush mushroom slices with tequila mixture, and place on grill. Cook until the mushroom slices begin to wilt, then turn and brush with more of the tequila mixture. Cook for a few minutes, until mushrooms are tender. Watch carefully so they do not burn.

I tried this recipe and was very pleased with the flavor and texture of the mushrooms, baste several times to be sure the marinate stay on the slices, do not over cook.

This was a yummy recipe! I love portobello mushrooms and the tequila gave them a nice zip

These mushrooms were excellent! Quite a nice compliment to a great steak!

I love this recipe, it makes a great sandwich with some pepper jack cheese on it.

Very strong alcohol flavor.

We thought they were great. But then, we love tequila! Wish I'd had a margarita with them....

great if you love tequila- next time i think i'll use about half the booze

This was awesome best sandwich that I've ever had!!!

This was delicious. But if don't like tequila, then this is not for you. My only change was that I marinated the mushrooms in the sauce for about 30 minutes instead of brushing it on.
