“A delicious, cool drink on a hot day. A hit at showers, garden parties or just to laze around drinking. Serve by placing a few scoops of the slush in a glass, then topping up the glass with ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, or iced tea.”

  1. In a large saucepan, boil the water. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add tea bags, and let sit overnight at room temperature.
  2. In a large freezer proof container, combine mixture with orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate and apricot brandy. Cover tightly, and freeze, stirring every few hours, until frozen.

I have used this recipe for years. It's great to have the frozen treat held in the freezer for stop-in buddies. . .especially during the summer months. I substitute black cherry brandy with herbal black cherry/berries tea with red food coloring added.

Absolutely fabulous!!! You will definitely enjoy this on a nice hot summer day!!

If you are not a apricot brandy fan this stuff is awesome if you replace the brandy w/desired amt of vodka. If you don't have time to wait on the tea bags, instant can be used. Best if made the night before so it can fully chill/freeze.
