“Delicious!!! Ingredients you usually have on hand, easy to make, and mmmm mmmm so good! Makes a big casserole to feed a big family or split it in two and freeze half for later. This is my favorite recipe and is very good with a tossed salad and garlic bread. Enjoy!”

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.)
  2. Place ground beef and onion in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until meat is evenly brown, and onion is tender. Drain excess fat. Stir in noodles, condensed tomato soup, condensed mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms and 1 cup cheese. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

I am a huge fan of casseroles and I eat almost everything but this was not a hit at my house. It's not that it lacked taste but rather, just not the right blend of tastes. Thanks anyways!

I had a pound of hamburger and 3 hungry men coming in for dinner. I scanned the Allrecipes site for something new and found this. At first, I wasn't too sure it would "pass inspection", but after my picky 12 yr. old helped himself to a third serving, I knew I'd found a winner. This dish is going in the family recipe book. Thanks Amy!

i thought it was "okay" the first night, then after reheating leftovers i knew i didn't like it... not a good blend of flavors - one of them needs to be stronger, i think :)
