“This promises to be the sweetest lobster you have ever tasted. The dipping sauce is mellow and flavorful. The simplicity of this recipe will make you use it over and over.”

Directions

  1. Fill a large pot with water, and mix in the onion, lemon, bay leaves, peppercorns, and salt. Bring to a boil. Place the lobsters in the boiling water, and cook until bright red, about 12 minutes for 1 pound, and about 5 more minutes for each additional pound.
  2. Remove the cooked lobsters from the pot, and rinse under cold water. Chill in the refrigerator, and serve cold.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, and brandy. Serve as a dipping sauce with the lobster.

Loved the way the lobster turned out! All the ingredients that it was boiled in were such a complement. Will definitely use this recipe again when boiling lobster. However, only gave this 3 stars because I didn't try the dipping sauce recipe.
