  1. Place hot dog pieces, pineapple, brown sugar, white sugar and baked beans into a slow cooker. Cook on high for 15 minutes, turn down to low, and let simmer for another 15 minutes, or until ready to serve. This dish can be kept on low all day.

I told the kids to search allrecipes for something with hot dogs - they came up with this. Now they want to eat it every time my husband and I go out. It was a big winner!

My husband decided to make this easy recipe for hot dogs and it seemed a different alternative to plain old beans and weenies. My kids were not as crazy about it as was expressed they would be. ...

This is really quite good. I did modify it a bit. I only had crushed pineapple, so I used that, and I kind of guessed on the sugar (just used brown, no white)...but probably used about 1/2 cup....
