- In a saucepan, mix together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in chicken broth, water, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, chile paste, and garlic. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.

It..." See more's so easy. I poured the sauce over cooked brocolli and pan fried tofu and served it over rice. After making it a few times I realized that if I use only 1/8 cup of cornstarch it's a better consistency and it's not as thick. I would suggest making these two changes, then it would definitely be a 5 star recipe."
