Original recipe yields 32 brownies

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly coat 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 -inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, combine flour, pumpkin, sugar, oil, eggs, milk, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt; mix until just blended. Stir in cranberries and walnuts, if desired. Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  4. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of the orange juice; mix until smooth, adding additional orange juice, as needed, to reach desired consistency. Drizzle over brownies; cut into squares. Store loosely covered.

I mixed cocoa powder in to the icing, used orange extract for flavor and milk to moisten. I kept the icing on the side. Again I thought that these were tasty but these are clearly not for everyone."
